New photos of the NY Uke fest have been posted in the Photo Gallery. Attending a music festival is a great way to ramp up your playing a notch & have a lot of fun at the same time!
Also , I've revived the ability of site members to blog on Vt Ukes web page. It was getting stale a while back, so I discontinued it. However, we have lots of ukers with an amazing array of ukulele insights & a knack for the written word, so let's give it a go, shall we?...

So what's new in the great big, ever-expanding world of the Vermont Ukulele Society? Quite a bit! For starters, it's nice to have Barry back after playing with the Vergennes City Band over the summer. Jen reported that we've been invited to play at the Bristol Harvest Festival on Sept. 26 in the afternoon. (She's double checking the date & time.) We'll have an extra practice on Mon. Sept 21st to rehearse the music for that per...

VtUkes was a lot of fun tonight! New folks & new tunes! (Old tunes really, but new to us as a group!). I really enjoyed Love Potion #9 and the Beatles tunes. I've really missed taking part in our get togethers, and now that my summertime musical groups have wrapped up I can spend more time on the ukulele.
One of the things we talked about was the need to move to new digs. Living Well Care...
